By accessing or using FixMyFile.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FixMyFile.ai provides an online file repair service that attempts to fix corrupted video, audio, image, and document files. We use automated algorithms to analyze and repair file structures.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Upload files that contain illegal content
Upload files that infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Attempt to circumvent any security measures
Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content
Abuse the free tier by creating multiple accounts
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

4. File Ownership

You retain all rights to files you upload. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have the right to upload and repair that file. We do not claim any ownership of your files.

5. No Guarantee of Repair

While we strive to repair all files, we cannot guarantee that every file can be successfully repaired. Some files may be too severely damaged to recover. Our repair rate is approximately 98.7% for standard corruption types.

6. Pricing and Payments

Free Tier: Files under 25MB are free (limited to 2 per month per user)
Basic Tier: Files 25MB-500MB cost $4.99
Pro Tier: Files 500MB-2GB cost $7.99

All prices are in USD. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If your file was not successfully repaired, or if you are unsatisfied with the results, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase.

8. File Retention

All uploaded files are automatically deleted within 24 hours of upload. We do not keep copies of your files beyond this period. You are responsible for downloading your repaired files before they expire.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixMyFile.ai shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data beyond the files directly uploaded
Any damages exceeding the amount paid for the Service
Issues arising from third-party services or infrastructure

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

12. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
